Washington Hearing Society just enjoyed the largest attended summer meeting in record at the Oxford Suites in Yakima, with CEU’s by Dan Quall of Starkey Hearing Technologies and Chantall Hammers of Spokane Falls Community College. It was a great networking, socializing and fun filled weekend that was enjoyed by all, with wine tour and golfing, shopping and relaxing. Our auction efforts raised over $18,000 to assist in the efforts to keep our Society solvent and self-sustaining. Representatives from AHAA, Crystal Clear Audiometric, GN Resound, IHS, MSR, Miracle Ear, Phonak, RJS, Siemens, Starkey, Unitron as well as individual members donated product and goods and over 70 attendees sported good natured bidding on July 25th in what has been called a rebuilding of the society -We’ve only just begun!
Sandy Hubbard, Society President led the Board functions and Ralph & Patsy Lenhard were generous enough to open their home to our the attendees for a Mexican Fiesta on Saturday the 26th.
