The Washington Hearing Society is committed to supporting professional growth. We have a variety of educational opportunities available to support that growth at all stages of your career. Whether looking to expand your skill set and stay current with industry standards or just starting out and learning what being a hearing instrument specialist means. We have the resources designed to help you thrive.

WHS offers:

  • Continuing Education Courses that keep you up to date on best practices, technology, and patient care. We offer two major events annually: Northwest Hearing Aid Summit and Summer Meeting.
  • HAST is a structured distance learning program. The course work is monitored by Sandy Hubbard, HIS and students gain hands on knowledge form a mentor.
  • Classes and connection to manufactures. This will give you more detail knowledge on products, programing and troubleshooting.

Spokane Falls Community College Hearing Instrument Specialist is a wonderful hybrid program offered to students local to the Spokane area and nationally. It is a 2 year associate program.

WHS designed these opportunities to support both new and experienced professionals, giving you the tools and knowledge to grow your practice and strengthen your impact to patients. We'd love to see you take advantage of these opportunities and continue building your expertise.
