Mara Eidsvoog grew up in Colorado. She has a rich background in audiology with a bachelor’s degree from University of Colorado Boulder in psychology and speech, language and hearing. After moving to Spokane Washington in 2014, Mara then received an associate degree as a hearing instrument specialist from Spokane Falls Community College. Mara has built a career dedicated to improving hearing health and advancing hearing instrument specialist education. 
For seven years Mara worked as a hearing healthcare provider at Puget Sound Hearing Aid & Audiology. In 2024, Mara began her role at the VA as an Audiology Health Technician. In addition to her professional career, she is passionate about education and sharing knowledge with other providers and students. Recently, Mara was invited to join the SFCC team as a remote adjunct teacher where she is committed to inspiring students to share the same passion for hearing healthcare.
When not working, Mara loves the comforts of home. She enjoys getting lost in a good book and spending quality time with her partner, Eric and their beloved dog.

Connie Furry, HAS

Connie Furry was raised in a small town in Eastern Oregon. She moved to Vancouver, Washington in 1997 to be closer to her parents and siblings. Connie loves the pacific northwest and all of the beautiful nature here. Connie has two grandchildren that live nearby, and they happen to be her favorite humans!! 
Connie is a second generation Hearing Aid Specialist and have been practicing for 25+ years. Her father and mother owned a hearing aid business. She also has two brothers and two nephews also helping people to hear better!!  So this is definitely a family affair. Over the past 25 years, she has seen so many revolutionary changes and developments in hearing aid technology. 
Connie's favorite part of the job is seeing the smiles on peoples faces and have them excited about their "new world" of hearing. She has two favorite stories to tell. One: fit a young man with his first set of hearing aids, while turning the pages of the manual for the aids, he stopped me and said, "I did not know that paper made sound when you turned the pages". He was amazed. Another woman was fit with her first set of aids. She went camping with her family and was so excited to report back that she heard the crackle of the fire for the first time ever!! She did not realize the fire made sounds.

Brianne Holley, HAS, AAS-HIS, BC-HIS

Brianne Holley, BC-HIS, is a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist at Hearing Life in Longview, WA. With a passion for helping others hear and communicate better, she brings nearly two decades of experience in hearing healthcare. Brianne began her career in 2008 as a receptionist in an Audiology/Otolaryngology practice, where her dedication and expertise led to a promotion as an Audiology Assistant. She went on to graduate with honors from the Hearing Instrument Sciences program at Spokane Falls Community College in 2017 and became Board Certified in 2023. Recognized for her commitment to the field, she was appointed as a Board Member for the Washington Hearing Society in 2025.
As a hearing healthcare provider, Brianne takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. She believes in the power of better hearing to transform lives and is dedicated to guiding her patients toward improved communication and quality of life. Outside of work, Brianne cherishes time with her husband, Nick, and their daughter, Tessa. Together, they enjoy exploring the natural beauty of Washington and making lifelong memories as a family.

Amanda Swanson, HAS

Amanda Swanson serves as the Field Sales Representative for Starkey Hearing Technologies, supporting accounts across Western Washington and Alaska. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Hearing Instrument Technology and is a licensed Hearing Care Practitioner in Washington State.
Before joining Starkey, Amanda spent seven years in clinical practice before transitioning to the manufacturing side as a Regional Sales Manager, overseeing operations in Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. With a strong background in both patient care and business development, she is passionate about advancing hearing healthcare through education, innovation, and collaboration.
A Pacific Northwest native, Amanda lives in University Place, WA, with her husband Kyle, their three children - Chase, Cohen, and Chloe - and their pets: French Bulldogs Boujee and Biggie Smalls, their newest Frenchie addition, a puppy, Lou Piniella. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family and cheering from the sidelines at her children's sporting events.
